How to transfer domain from namecheap to godaddy

by George on December 7, 2008

This often is a big headache and a waste of time transferring domain here and there.

If you would want to transfer the domain due to any reason, simply pay godaddy for the domain first, then godaddy will email you what to do.

After which, you would need to get the EPP code from namecheap which is located at Manage Domains > Registrar Lock.

You will see this sentence “Related: Planning to transfer out this domain? Get EPP code if required. ”

Click on that and they will email the EPP code to you. Then all you need to do is just to wait.

Since you mentioned godaddy, I’ll also provide a couple recent results for Godaddy coupon codes. I am a Portuguese Translation Site Developer, and these promo codes come in very handy when purchasing or renewing an internet domain name. Use Godaddy promo code ZINE3 for $7.49 .com domains and renewals. I save about $40 every time I purchase domains from godaddy.com. When I buy at least five domain names, I also get free private registration when I use ZINE3. For other Godaddy coupons, use ZINE1 for 10% off, ZINE2 for $5 off any $30+ purchase, and ZINE25 for $25 off any purchase of $100 or greater, like hosting plans. These promo codes are current, working, and do not expire. Hope these Godaddy promo codes save just as much cash for the other subscribers as they have for my projects. Have a good one!
